We live in rural western Washington in the town of Montesano. I have been involved in raising and showing dogs since I was a young girl. My mother showed Scottish Terriers, my grandmother showed Manchester Terriers, and my Great Grandmother showed poodles in the 1960's. It is an honor to carry on the tradition with pugs and to have my children out there in the ring.
We do our best to better this breed that we care so much about. We test for health concerns and have our pugs evaluated and vetted at many stages so that we are doing our best to contribute to the breed in a healthy way when we bring a litter into the world.
We raise our dogs in the house; they are members of the family. This promotes good social skills and manners in our pugs. They are brave in the show ring and well adjusted in life.
We believe a dog that is representative of the standard is a sound healthy dog. A well bred pug should adhere to the AKC standard; representing health, wellness & correct conformation. **We do not support breeding for any color other than black or fawn. Fad colors do not represent the standard. We do not support backyard breeding programs.
We frequent many AKC dog shows in the Northwest; Washington, Idaho & Oregon. Email us to find out where we will be next. Dog shows are an excellent opportunity to meet the breed.
From time to time we have pug puppies available to approved companion homes. Contact us by email and let us know a little about yourself. We will respond in a prompt fashion.
